At Maisy's farm... We learned about the plants. Also my classmates got to dig compost. Also we got to eat saled.All of us did planting. Sam is a person who helped us. Chloe's mother and Lara's mother came to help us,too!
I had a wonderful time with the FSH Third Graders at Maysie's Farm yesterday. It was my first visit to an organic farm. I was reminded of the importance of composting and I must say it was particularly interesting to learn about the things that go on underneath the soil. I think I have a new favorite green to add to my salads...it was a leaf that had a spicy mustard kick to it! Third Graders, thanks for letting me explore, discover and get my hands dirty with you!
