Author David Schwartz visited us today. As a child he loved to wonder about things. His books explore that creative curiosity. The topics of his books focus on large numbers and animals. During our assembly, he showed us 1 piece of popcorn, 10 pieces, 100 pieces, 1,000 pieces and finally 10,000 pieces of popcorn. With the help of a photo he showed us what 1,000,000 pieces of popcorn looked like. You can't imagine the excitement these activities generated!
